ABOUT
Borja Mucientes is a film director and cinematographer specializing in commercial filmmaking. He initially studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Vigo, Spain, before pursuing his passion for visual storytelling at the EIS Film School in Coruña, Spain. Short after, Borja began his career as a filmmaker and photographer.
Driven to grow as a filmmaker, he relocated to London, where he was selected for the BFI Network x BAFTA CREW program, allowing him to collaborate with some of the UK's leading film directors and cinematographers. Borja trained as a Director of Photography under renowned cinematographers like Oliver Stapleton, BSC, Mike Eley, BSC, and Daniel Landin, BSC, while perfecting his directing skills with A-listed directors such as Tom Kuntz , THIRTYTWO, Tom Noakes, or Stephen Frears.
Borja’s expertise and vision have led him to work with top global brands, continually pushing the boundaries of filmmaking.
